We recently took a trip to our manufacturing facilities in Mexico to show Dr. Chiu how Agave Nectar is produced and to get his seal of approval. He’s been fascinated with the great characteristics of agave in the past, but needed to see first hand how it was produced and if it met his high standards of healthy quality products. Dr. Gordon Chiu is an international health, beauty and skin consultant. His publications in aesthetics, science and wellness have been distributed in over 8 different countries.

Gordon Chiu received his Bachelors of Science (Summa Cum Laude) in Chemistry at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1996. During his studies Gordon was a Howard Hughes Medical Fellowship Recipient and worked with Pfizer’s Drug Discovery team to generate a Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) Protease Inhibitor Library. In 1997, Gordon joined Merck & Co and a year later, he pursued his Masters through The Merck Graduate School Scholars Program with Seton Hall University. In 1999, he received his Masters of Science in Chemistry (Summa Cum Laude). In June 2001, Gordon was the recipient of the M.D./PhD. Fellowship and his academic scholarship was awarded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP).

After September 11, 2001, many people in New York City suffered post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Gordon founded the Depression Think Tank (DTT) in order to help these individuals manage depression issues so that survivors would have an additional support group. Similarly, Gordon suffered a personal loss that led to many hardships while in New York City. However, his desire and interest in medicine did not stop but in order to continue to be a leader and healer Gordon wanted to sacrifice his New York City training so that his personal healing process could be completed. In 2004, Gordon’s naturopathic medical training began in Connecticut. Additionally, Gordon founded his own private corporation in order to better server the needs of his clients worldwide.

Gordon Chiu’s extensive background in the field of Chemistry allows him to contribute his expertise on product formulations within the skincare industry, with companies such as Shiseido, Kanebo International and Estee Lauder, among others. In addition, Gordon maintains a strong relationship with aesthetic institutes worldwide in order to determine the global current needs and future focus of clients. During his time in medical school, Gordon worked as a research consultant for the Dermatology Research Laboratories under the direction of Dr. Wei, M.D. Gordon’s experienced profile in chemistry, aesthetics, and medicine makes him a unique health, skin and beauty consultant. His strong interest in advanced healing, slowing the aging process, and promoting a Body, Mind and Soul recovery has attracted many high profiled clients seeking for help with chronic pain, lack of energy (chi), eczema, allergy prone skin, product usage problems, etc.

As a humanitarian, Gordon Chiu believes strongly in multidiscipline partnerships. He is the Founder and Director of The 2003 Health Futures Forum. On both the state and national level, Gordon worked closely with the American Medical Association regarding the United States Healthcare Crisis in Washington D.C.

His passion for International Medicine and Global Health was reflected in his international radio talk show as the Health & Skin Consultant for Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) from 2001-2003. In addition, his publications in aesthetics, science and wellness reach out to over 3.9 million readers in order to promote global public awareness of health issues.
